New range of mooring boats : two models ready for delivery
Â
In spite of the sanitary context, work did not stop in the workshops of the shipyard. Teams were organized and adapted to continue production, while respecting the essential barrier gestures.
The construction of these two work boats are now completed and will soon begin trials. They will then be delivered to their owners, who are specialists in the field of mooring services in France.
With lengths of 7m and 7.50m, these are the first two boats of a new generation of boats dedicated to mooring services. The complete range extends from 7 to 9 metres with several power ratings available, from 160 to 425 hp.
Â
These boats, designed and built on a new base, keep the robustness and excellent manoeuvrability which made the reputation of the previous ones, and are enriched with new strong points.
Their design incorporates the latest developments from the 222 division of the French Maritime surveyor office and meet the stability criteria of BV regulation NR467 E1 R02 "Part E - Service Notations for Offshore Service Vessels and Tugs". Therefore, in addition to the mooring job, they can now be approved for towing for bollard pullings ranging from 1.1 to 2.5 T, depending on the model.
